An eternal deity named Fu Jiu Yun falls in love with a mortal woman he has been yearning to be with. He finds himself pursuing her through a thousand years and ten various mortal incarnations, but to no result. He is quite powerful, but unable to win her love.
Then she is reborn as a princess, promising a change in the course of events. And indeed they will be because a prince with malicious intentions and several demons from a nearby realm come up with a cunning plan to kill the princess. The plan is successful in destroying her family and her kingdom in the process. She deftly flees from her enemies by assuming the appearance of her maid Ah Man.
She asks Fu Jiu Yun for assistance because she is determined to seek revenge on those who have wronged her, and the two end up falling in love. However, fate foretells that their love affair may be brief, compelling them to make difficult choices that will have a lasting effect on both their lives and the lives of the princess’ followers.
In the past, the Li Kingdom was destroyed as a result of important minister Zuo Xiang surreptitiously communicating with the Tianyuan Kingdom, an adversary nation. Qin Chuan, the princess, was saved by Fu Jiuyun. Qin Chuan promised to find the old spiritual lamp in order to free the people of the globe after witnessing their suffering under the Tianyuan Kingdom’s rule. When Qin Chuan and Fu Jiuyun first met, they immediately fell in love. They then collaborated to uncover the spiritual lamp, but they soon discovered that Fu Jiuyun was actually the wick of the lamp. Fu Jiuyun would go as soon as the spiritual lamp was lit, and all who did so would also pass away. Cousin Qin Chuan turned on the spiritual lamp for her at the crucial moment, and Fu Jiuyun vanished as soon as the two of them decided to make a sacrifice to save the people from the fire and flood. Missing Fu Jiuyun, Qin Chuan once more touched the spiritual lamp. They gave up their individual sense of love for their family, their nation, and themselves. They eventually reunited after being moved to God.
Episode 1 The emperor’s daughter requested directions from Zuo Zichen regarding the musical score. On the queen’s birthday, the emperor’s daughter performed a dance.
Her master chastised Princess Yanyan of the Li Kingdom for not being diligent about studying fairy skills. No dancer could accomplish the exquisiteness of Qi’s Dongfeng Peach Blossom Song, the sage teacher in the painting, hence it was never finished. Yanyan had heard about it and wanted to perform it herself. The emperor was perplexed and made the decision to come and inquire when Zuo Xiangguo was about to step down due to illness. Yanyan obtained the music notation and sought guidance from Zuo Zichen, Zuo Xiangguo’s son. During Yanyan’s Peach Blossom Song performance on the Queen’s birthday, everyone cheered while Young Master Qi scowled. It turned out that young master Qi was a fairy king in the land of fairies, and his name was Fu Jiuyun. His master gave him the wise advice to stay out of other people’s business before delivering the picture to Yanyan on his behalf.
Episode 2: Overnight, the family of the emperor’s daughter was wiped out, and Qin Chuan reached Katori Mountain.
Yanyan was trapped in a scenario where he was being chased and killed until Zuo Xiang covertly spoke with Tianyuan to send demon soldiers into the city. Fortunately, the young masters arrived to save him. Yu Yuan led the army in when Prime Minister Zuo gave the order to open the city’s gate. A terrible conflict resulted in the death of the second prince. Yanyan quickly pulled her sword and swung it away since she believed both of her parents had been killed by Zuo Xiang when Zuo Zichen arrived, but it was already too late. Blood was pouring out of Zuo Zichen’s fingers as he covered his face with his fists. The emperor’s tutor seized the chance to transport Yanyan and Aman by crane. The three instructors and students fled in a panic, but Aman’s devoted protector was cut down by the demon soldier’s sword. Yanyan assumed Aman’s look and arrived at Katori Mountain as Qin Chuan thanks to the emperor’s teacher.
Episode 3
Jiu Yun abruptly came to torment Qin Chuan as he looked for the magic lamp as shown in the picture. Jiu Yun passed unconscious after Qin Chuan inadvertently inserted a syringe into his shoulder from his bag. Everywhere he goes, Jiuyun is fixated on him, and Qin Chuan may always run into him. Jiuyun sexually assaulted Cuiya, and Qin Chuan covertly stabbed her with a needle before collapsing. Qin Chuan was made to sit on Jiuyun’s lap after the latter compelled him to after spotting his little movements. Qin Chuan created a fake childhood sweetheart who fell in love with him at first sight in order to keep Jiuyun away from him, but Ermeng almost foiled his scheme. When Qin Chuan went up the mountain to gather herbs, he heard that the back mountain had an enchantment. He went to investigate covertly but unintentionally broke into Wanbao Pavilion.
Episode 4: Qin Chuan Zuo Zichen After meeting Qin Chuan, Master Qingqing imprisoned him. Fu Jiuyun then freed him.
Katori Sanji’s eyes were filled with Zuo Zichen thanks to Xuanzhu, and Qin Chuan couldn’t help but reflect on the past when he saw them. When Xuanzhu presented Shanzhu with a second painting, the latter was overjoyed and decided to appoint Xuanzhu as his apprentice. Qin Chuan once more glanced at Zuo Zichen while harbouring conflicting emotions. When Qin Chuan and Zuo Zichen first met, the latter stopped Qin Chuan from leaving. Zuo Zichen touched Qin Chuan’s face because he thought she looked extremely familiar and he wanted to see her. When Master Qingqing and Xuanzhu observed their sexual behaviour, Tan Chuan was reprimanded and placed in a cell. Jiuyun saved Qin Chuan after Ermeng called him from inside the prison undercover.
Episode 5: Fu Jiuyun teases Qin Chuan as he arrives at his home to work.
Everyone began speculating when Manager Zhao revealed that Qin Chuan will be employed as a maid in Jiuyun Mansion. Qin Chuan was driven in a sedan chair to Jiuyun’s house. When Jiuyun asked Qin Chuan to warm the bed, Qin Chuan believed that Jiuyun was up to no good. Qin Chuan and Jiuyun shared a room, and in his dreams, Qin Chuan saw his family members sobbing. While working, Qin Chuan purposefully ruined objects. Jiuyun stood up for Qin Chuan while Mr. Bai attempted to drive him away. When Zuo Zichen visited Qin Chuan with Xuanzhu, he was thinking of Qin Chuan and begged Jiuyun to break off Qin Chuan’s affection for him. Qin Chuan fiercely refused. Jiuyun intervened in time to stop Meishan Jun from entering Qin Chuan under the pretence of looking for Jiuyun and purposefully making inferences about Jiuyun’s feelings.
